The Riedel Performance Cabernet Glass is specifically designed for full-bodied, complex red wines high in tannin. This precisely engineered vessel represents the culmination of both tradition and innovation in wine glass design.

Redeveloped in 2018 for enhanced aromatic performance, this generous glass allows a wine's bouquet to develop fully while its shape works to smooth rough edges and emphasise fruit notes, effectively playing down the bitter qualities of tannin. This configuration helps wines achieve proper balance on the palate, revealing their intended character.

Co-designed by Georg and Maximilian Riedel, the Performance series introduces Riedel's first-ever "optic impact" feature which increases the inner surface area, creating more space for wine to aerate and aromatics to develop.

Crafted from clear crystal glass through premium machine-blown production, these glasses offer exceptional precision while maintaining practical durability.
