How can I pay for my order?

We accept all major debit/credit cards, including American Express, or you can pay via PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order on the Royal Mail website using your tracking number.

Can I change or cancel an order after I've placed it?

When do I get charged?

We don't actually "take" your money until we dispatch your order. This way, if you decide to cancel, or we have a supply issue, no refund is necessary.

For PayPal and Amazon Pay your payment is taken when you place your order.

Do I have to pay for delivery?

Delivery is free for orders over £49.

For orders under £49 standard delivery is £4.95.

How do I return an item?

How do I know my details are secure?

We treat your personal information with the highest standards of security and confidentiality.

We never sell or give any personal information we have about you to any other company.

You can rest assured that your credit/debit card and personal information are safe with us.

Do you accept and deliver orders from outside the UK?

Important Notice: Due to current circumstances, we have had to suspend deliveries to the Republic of Ireland and Europe. This is due to ongoing export issues in the UK and import issues across Europe. We hope to reinstate this service as soon as possible once the issues have been resolved. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Which courier company do you use?

We use Royal Mail (and occasionally DPD).

Do you offer a click and collect service?

Yes, you can collect from an Art of Living Cookshop near you.

We will email you when your item is ready to be collected.

Once your item has been dispatched you can redirect it to thousands of Royal Mail and Post Office locations around the UK.

What should I do if I'm experiencing difficulties using the website?

Do I need to create an account to place an order?

No, you do not need to, but it's simple to do and allows you to order easily without having to fill in your details every time you shop with us.

Product Related FAQs

I have purchased from you before, and I want to reorder. What should I do?

Your previous orders are recorded in your account (if you are registered) - simply log in and your Order History will be revealed.

If you placed an order as a guest or on our old system (prior to 2020), we can help you at help@theriedelshop.co.uk

Your old order number will help us to identify the glasses immediately.

Can you help me to identify my glass?

Our knowledgeable team will be happy to help you identify your glass.

Please send an email via our contact us page. The more information you can provide will help to quickly identify your product.

Please answer as many of the following questions as possible in your request:

  • When was the product purchased (roughly)?
  • Do you know the name of the series or the glass?
  • Is the Riedel etched trademark on the base in block letters or handwritten?
  • Height in mm (click here for the best way to get an accurate measurement)
  • Diameter of the rim in mm
  • Capacity in ml (fill the glass up to the brim and carefully pour into a measuring jug)
  • Please also send us a picture of your glass
Are Riedel glasses dishwasher safe?

Most Riedel glasses are dishwasher safe and when properly loaded, can withstand at least 1,000 cycles with no noticeable change to their shine or clarity.

Riedel glasses labelled with or packed in packaging labelled "handwash only", "not-dishwasher safe", or not indicating any care/cleaning instructions on the box, need handwashing.

Dishwasher tips:

  • Make sure glasses are well-spaced out, so they are not touching one another or anything else
  • If available, use a stemware rack in your dishwasher, as it provides support and stops your glassware from moving around
  • To avoid stains or cloudiness if you are in a hard water area use water softener
  • To remove superficial stains soak your glasses in white vinegar or lemon juice
How do I clean my Riedel glasses?

How do I wash my microfibre polishing cloth?

Machine wash with scent free soap at 60°C.

Never use fabric softener when washing your microfibre polishing cloth.

Microfibre polishing cloths must not be put in the tumble dryer.

Are Riedel glasses and decanters lead free?

YES. Riedel last made lead crystal glasses in 2015. To achieve the same brilliance, clarity and lustre as lead crystal, they use borosilicate.

Can I purchase Riedel products in person, or is The Riedel Shop solely an online retailer?

Whilst we have a strong online presence, we are part of Art of Living Cookshop, which has physical store locations in Cobham and Reigate, Surrey. We also have a warehouse in Redhill.

Customers can visit these locations for in-person purchases or utilise our Click & Collect service.
