Our knowledgeable team will be happy to help you identify your glass.

Please send an e-mail via our contact us page. The more information you can provide will help to quickly identify your product.

Please answer as many of the following questions as possible in your request.

  • When was the product purchased (roughly)? 
  • Do you know the name of the series or the glass?
  • Is the Riedel etched trademark on the base in block letters or handwritten?
  • The following dimensions are probably the most important to identify your glass:
  1. Height in mm. (Click here for the best way to get an accurate measurement)
  2. Diameter of the rim in mm.
  3. Capacity in ml. (fill the glass up to the brim and carefully pour into a measuring jug).

Please also send us a picture of your glass.

Most Riedel glasses are dishwasher safe and when properly loaded, can withstand at least 1,000 cycles with no noticeable change to their shine or clarity.

Riedel glasses labelled with or packed in packaging labelled "handwash only", "not-dishwasher safe", or not indicating any care/cleaning instructions on the box, need handwashing.

When loading your glasses into your dishwasher, make sure they are well-spaced out, so they are not touching one another or anything else.

If available, use a stemware rack in your dishwasher, as it provides support and stops your glassware from moving around.

  • To avoid stains or cloudiness if you are in a hard water area use water softener.
  • To remove superficial stains soak your glasses in white vinegar or lemon juice.

Machine wash, with scent free soap, at 60°C.

Never use fabric softener when washing your microfibre polishing cloth.

Microfibre polishing cloths must not be put in the tumble dryer.

YES. Riedel last made lead crystal glasses in 2015. To achieve the same brilliance, clarity and lustre as lead crystal, they use borosilicate.

Yes, we offer several customer-focused guarantees. We have a price match policy, promising to match the price if an item is found cheaper elsewhere. We also offer a half-price replacement policy if a product is accidentally broken within two years of purchase.

While we have a strong online presence, we are part of Art of Living Cookshop, which has physical store locations in Cobham and Reigate, Surrey. We also have a warehouse in Redhill. Customers can visit these locations for in-person purchases or utilise our Click & Collect service.
