The glass shape was designed in 2001 after two tasting workshops led by Georg Riedel, attended by over two dozen tequila producers, representatives and experts. It was appointed the official tequila glass by the Consejo Regulador del Tequila and shows the finest Reposados, Añejos and Reservas de Casa Tequilas in their best form.
