El Diablo Recipe
El Diablo is essentially a tequila-based Moscow Mule, enhanced by a burst of rich, velvety black currant liqueur (crème de cassis). The cocktail’s sweetness is offset by the heat of the ginger beer, creating a refreshing crowd-pleaser. Skewer a lime wedge, a hunk of candied ginger, and a brandied cherry for the drink’s signature garnish.

40ml Tequila

15ml Creme de Cassis

25ml Lime Juice

Ginger Beer
- Lime wedge, candied ginger, brandy soaked cherry
Method
- Combine all the ingredients, except the ginger beer, in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice until the shaker feels cold to the touch.
- Strain onto fresh ice in a highball glass.
- Top up with ginger beer and drizzle a touch more Cassis over the top.
